1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using GraphVision ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GraphVision is an AI-powered platform that transforms scientific content into visual outputs including graphical abstracts, posters, mind maps, summaries, executive summaries, and Mermaid diagrams. The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate these outputs based on user-submitted content.

3. Account Registration

  • You must create an account to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Plans and Credits

The Service operates on a credit-based system. Visual generation costs 2 credits, and text generation costs 1 credit. Credits are provided monthly based on your subscription plan.

4.2 Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
  • Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access until the end of your current billing period. Unused credits do not roll over and are not refundable.

4.4 Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. After this period, refunds are generally not provided except as required by law.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the scientific content you submit to the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to process it for the purpose of generating outputs.

5.2 Generated Outputs

You own the outputs generated by the Service from your content. You may use these outputs for any lawful purpose, including publication and commercial use.

5.3 Restrictions

You agree not to submit content that:

  • Infringes any intellectual property rights
  • Is unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent
  • Contains malware or malicious code
  • Violates any applicable laws or regulations

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use automated tools to access the Service without permission
  • Share your account credentials with others

7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate outputs. AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all generated outputs before use, particularly for scientific publications. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any AI-generated content.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, features, and content (excluding user-submitted content), is owned by GraphVision and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GraphVision shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GraphVision and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
